If the developer doesn’t cover all the bases before the customer receives the product, the perceived value of the product declines, seeing as it isn’t of quality. For the company, if the customer’s value of the product decreases, that means the overall value of the company will also decrease. This translates to less profitable operations and potential damage to the company’s reputation.
